Frequently Asked Questions

Please read all Policies prior to booking

Can I loose weight with Ultrasound Cavitation?

Ultrasonic Cavitation is not a method of weight loss. It is designed to reshape and sculpt the body and remove localized stubborn fat or cellulite. Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments work best when combined with low fat and low carbohydrate diet, along with regular exercise. These will help you to loose weight and you should be within 15 pounds of your goal weight.

How many treatments can I have?

We recommend you have a course of six minimum and a maximum of twelve treatments per area before having a break of four week to allow your body to recover.

How soon can I see a result of cavitation?

Most clients will have a noticeable reduction in their measurements after the very first treatment. Some have recorded 5 inches, however the average is a 2 inch loss. The process of fat removal continues for up to seven days after each treatment so it isn't unusual to see a further decrease a day or two after your initial treatment.

Is the fat reduction permanent?

Yes, the fat cells are fractured, broken down, and the cells are drained away through the liver and passed as waste from the body.

How long is a treatment?

The service is tailored to the individual, but generally including consultation and measurement you can expect to be with us between 45 minutes to an hour and thirty minutes.

Do I have to rest afterwards?

No, the great thing about this treatment is you can go about your day as normal. We strongly advise you to increase your water intake to at least 2 liters a day to help with the fat removal.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, it is company policy to not provide this service to anyone under the age of 18 years old.

What would happen if I had cavitation during my period?

Ultrasound increases blood flow and you would feel uncomfortable, so we do not recommend having treatments during that time. We can reschedule if that happens as long as you provide 24 hours advanced notice.

How long should I wait after child birth to have cavitation treatments?

You must wait a minimum of three months after normal birth of your baby, or a minimum of six months after a C-section. If you are breast feeding you must pump for two days straight and dump it.

Is cavitation safe if a women has an IUD?

Yes, this not a contraindication.

Can I have more than one area treated at the same time?

Following the treatment the body has to work to remove the excess fat that is now passing through the lymphatic system to the liver. For this reason, treating multiple areas is not advisable and may not be effective.

What if I don't see results straight away?

It is important to remember that everyone is different and your body will work according to your unique metabolism. You will see reduction through a coarse of treatments, which is why we recommend a coarse of six or more for great results!

What can I do at home to help with treatments?

Drink plenty of water and avoid alcohol and caffein after your service. Try and increase your heart rate by taking some exercise for the best results (even by doing household chores) and avoid too many carbohydrates. We highly recommend that you wear a waist trainer or spanks for two hours after the treatment, continuing throughout the week.

Does the treatment hurt?

Ultrasound cavitation lipo is a pain free procedure and requires no anesthetic. During the procedure you will feel a "tug" in the treated area due to the vacuum effect and will have a light buzzing in your ear from the ultrasound machine during the session, but that is all. There is no anesthetic or numbing agent required during the treatment.

What happens to the released fat?

Excess fat is released into interstitial space between the cells during and following the cavitation treatment. Here it is metabolized to glycerol and fatty free acids. Glycerol that is water soluble is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as an energy source. The insoluble fatty free acids are transported via the liver and kidneys and processed as if fatty acids from foods and then eliminated naturally from the body.

What can be treated with the light bulb cavitation system?

All areas with localized fat such as the thighs, abdomen, and the buttocks are the most appropriate to be treated. The treatment works on cellulite, the reduction of general fat, and for skin tightening. For cellulite the ultrasound focuses on the superficial fat tissue. Best results are achieved when the ultrasound is applied in conjunction with the vacuum and radio frequency treatments.

What are the long term result I can expect with lipo cavitation?

Gradually over a number of weeks the body will clear down the broken down fatty tissues which will result in a volume reduction of fatty tissues. It is not uncommon to achieve results of 5-6 inches of reduction in body circumference by the end of the course of treatments. These results will be long lasting provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise program. If you over eat or consume too much alcohol fat can easily be deposited back into the body.

How many treatments will I need?

Between six and twelve treatments is recommended, however you should see significant results from the third treatment onwards.

Are there any side effects to these treatments?

There are rarely any side effects, however there may be the slight possibility of some transient redness or excess thirst immediately after the treatment which can be resolved simply by drinking water.

Can you wear body jewelry or piercings during the treatment?

No, please remove all body jewelry or piercings prior to arriving for your treatment.

What is contour body wrapping?

Contour body wrapping is an inch loss and cellulite treatment program. This advanced development works on shrinking the adipose tissue of fat called cellulite that is found directly below the surface of the skin. Contour wrapping eliminates toxins and impurities that have built up in the body plus helps rid the body of cellulite. It detoxifies your body, tightens loose tissue, and smooths & softens your skin.

How does a body wrap work?

The concept of the body wrap is such that it improves the areas of your body that you want to work on the most. Most see significant improvement in cellulite after using this body wrapping treatment and specialized creams. Cellulite is fluid retention in the connective fibers in the upper layers of the skin along with enlargement of individual fat cells. The body wrap process detoxifies the layer of the skin, tighten the pores, and increases circulation which reduces the appearance of cellulite.

How often should I wrap?

You can experience a wrap every other day. We recommend that you be wrapped two times a week until you have met your goals, then be wrapped once or twice monthly to enjoy continued benefits. We highly encourage you to buy the cellulite cream and either wrap at home or wear spanks or compression garments with the cream so you can continue to tighten and tone when you are not scheduled for a service. Most clients opt to receive wraps weekly, this is the industry standard, and that frequency will produce great results especially if you are utilizing the creams at home with their compression garments.

How long is a treatment?

The service is tailored to the individual, but generally including consultation and measurement you can expect to be with us between 45 minutes to an hour and thirty minutes.

How many wraps will I need?

For best results, complete a series of three to twelve wraps initially. You will need a series of wraps to see long lasting results. Depending upon the amount of cellulite that has formed and your percentage of body fat, etc. will determine the number of wraps needed to obtain your desired results.

FAQ's - Infrared Sauna

Frequently Asked Questions

What is infrared & why use it?

Infrared is the band of light that we perceive as heat. We can not see this band of light with the naked eye, but we can feel this type of light as a form of heat. The sun produces most of its energy output in the infrared segment of the spectrum. Infrared rays heat your body through a process called conversion.

How long does each client's treatment last?

The client is wrapped for 45 to 50 minutes per session.

How does the infrared body treatment work?

The core temperature of our body is 98 degrees Fahrenheit and constantly reduces towards the outside. Consequently, the outer areas of the body tend to be around 10 degrees colder and this is where excess fat is typically deposited. In order to achieve body toning, it is necessary to undergo sustained cardiovascular exercise for a minimum of 30 minutes, three to four times per week. During exercise the body temperature rises and sweat is generated as the body attempts to cool itself. At the same time the heart works harder pumping blood at a greater rate to boost circulation. Heart rate cardiac output and metabolic rate increases while diastolic blood pressure drops improving overall cardiovascular fitness and burning off fat deposits. When far infrared energy penetrates through the skin it transform from light energy to heat energy and elevates the temperature fo the subcutaneous layers. The bodies absorption of this energy stimulates a workout burning up to 900 to 1,400 calories in a 45 minute session providing body shaping and detoxification.

How often can clients repeat treatments?

This will depend on a person's lifestyle. If a person is very physically active (undertaking significant walking, jogging, working out, or competitive sports ) then treatments can be as often as every three days. For best results it is preferably right before a workout as this will help burn the most dramatic amount of calories and also has maximum impact on body definition.

Can clients use multiple infrared treatments such as infrared sauna and tanning session on the same day?

Both the infrared sauna and a tanning bed give off infrared heat, therefore it is possible to receive a burn or heat rash if both sessions are undertaken on the same day. It is not recommended if you have fair skin and prone to burning. Tanning the previous or next day should be perfectly fine.

Who can use infrared heat?

Visually everyone from all walks of life can benefit from a far infrared program. However, sessions should not be undertaken for clients with the listed contraindications.
